Strategic marketing is seen as an important element of this growth and, within it, Product Marketing plays a key role in the articulation of the current and future investment services across a wide range of marketing materials.

This offers an exciting opportunity for an Associate to work within a highly collaborative environment, with significant potential to make an individual contribution to a growing business that is launching new strategies and articulating Capital Group’s distinctive investment process to new audiences.

Position Overview :

The role is responsible for helping define, plan and create product and thematic / investment materials to promote our investment offering across our target markets in Europe and Asia.

Working with stakeholders throughout the Europe and Asia Client Group (EACG), the individual will be responsible for helping develop and deliver the marketing toolkit.

Focus will be on the institutional and financial intermediary audiences, with end-investor materials produced only on demand.

Their main duties will include :

Working across the business - Investment Product Specialists and Investment Directors, Country Marketing Managers and Sales - to create and review product messaging and materials to support the promotion of CG’s range of investment services.

Creation and ownership of the messaging and content for a range of materials e.g. sales books, promotional literature, web, video and other digital content.

To ensure the investment strategy, product positioning, client feedback, investment insights and responses to sales objections are considered in the materials.

Working closely with Country Marketing Managers to ensure that our marketing channels (email comms, web, videos, events etc) reflect the latest messaging and insights, and are appropriate for the audience.

Responsible for the delivery and prioritisation of the marketing toolkit for specific strategies in response to business priorities.Skills & Experience

Around 5 years’ experience in a financial services marketing role. 3 years in a Product Marketing or similar role is desirable.

A good understanding of investment management products and asset management.Experience of working with sales teams to support and drive engagement with prospects and clients - ideally across both institutional and financial intermediary channels.

Ability to understand investment insights from the Investment Group and client insights from the Sales teams, with the motivation to turn them into compelling messaging and content to support product-specific initiatives.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, stakeholder management and an ability to build strong working relationships.

High levels of energy and commitment.Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise effectively.In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
