The Data Modeler is responsible for data system structures, engineering, standards, and the evaluation/implementation of new data organization. The Data Modeler designs data solutions for teams to visualize and consume data in a framework that can be utilized by data scientist, engineers, or data analysts. The Data Modeler partners as a team member with the Platform Leaders, IT Delivery Leads, Project Managers, Application Architects, Infrastructure Architects, DBA’s, Infrastructure Engineers, Infrastructure Operations and Functional Leads to support delivery of complete solutions. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree required or two (2) years of equivalent experience required.
• Relevant field of degree in Computer Science, Business, or Data Science
• Minimum of three (3) years with RDBMS metadata and SQL (PL/SQL, TSQL) required.
• Minimum of three (3) years with writing, debugging and performance tuning SQL required.
• Minimum one (1) year of data modeling experience required.
• Three (3) years of data modeling and use of related tools such as Erwin or Power designer preferred.
• Hands-on experience data modeling with cloud database systems (ex: Redshift or Snowflake) or cloud data lake/lakehouse systems is preferred.

• Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Broad understanding of functional business processes
• Good understanding of database design and dimensional modeling principles
• Good understanding of data warehouse design and modeling methodology
• Demonstrated understanding of metadata management and data governance
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
• Excellent facilitation skills
• Should be known as an agent of change

CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
