This individual must have good understanding of solar or construction industry and be very comfortable working in a dynamic and demanding environment with challenges and direction coming from multiple departments. Ideal candidate must be very organized, calm, and work well with others to achieve success. Must have at least 3 plus years minimum experience in financial analysis and accounting.Senior Financial & Accounting Analyst is a key member of the leadership team and will provide direction and oversight for the financial, physical, and operational management of the organization and serve as a strategic advisor to the Executive Team on the growth and development of the company.Our vision is to create a sense of pride and connection among all the people at company as well as our customer—and beyond. Join us and contribute to the growth and development of our exciting future.RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial ManagementStrategic Planning to support organizational growthDevelop and manage an operating budget and the annual capital budgetFinancial reporting and projections including risk and opportunity assessmentsAccounting and investment managementCompliance with financial standards and annual audit & tax returnsProject costing and WIP, Weekly Intuit Assisted PayrollAR/AP. Accrual based accounting system in solar and construction environmentMonth end close including, Journal Entries and financial reports for management in project-based environment. . Minimum 2 years’ experience using QuickBooks desktop. Proficient in MSOffice products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and QuickBooks. T-sheets, Salesforce experience preferredOperations ManagementWork closely with Operations team on projects execution.Administrative processes, procedures & compliance (risk management)Vendor/third-party management, including contract and lease negotiations and complianceInsurance policies and compliance with required permits & licensesSome HR oversight including recruiting, employee benefits Etc.Job-Related Skills & AbilitiesStrong leadership skills; the ability to inspire, motivate and be a team player.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface with employees, and senior management and clients.Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to meet deadlines and successfully juggle multiple priorities.Ability to work in situations with changing priorities and multiple simultaneous assignments.ExperienceQualificationsExperience in construction or solar industry a MUST2 years of experience in financial management2 years of experience in a senior financial role in charge of finance and accountingEducationBachelor’s Degree in FinanceMBA PreferredBenefitsCompetitive salaryAffordable medical & dental insuranceVacation timeHoliday paySick leaveCompensation will be commensurate with experienceTo apply for this position, please submit your resume and cover letter.
