CAPISTRANO BEACH CARE CENTER is excited to announce we are currently hiring for a dynamic Registered Nurse for one of our brand new patient care centers in Capistrano Beach, CA. This is a full-time, shift-shortened position with benefits!

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse practitioner

• Monitor patients vital signs
• Perform routine procedures and act as medical expert in accordance with medical code of conduct
• Order and analyze patient samples and diagnostic tests
• Provide treatment or treatment referral courses for patients
• Assess patient condition and collect data (vitals, symptoms, treatments)
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (surgeons, internists, physicians)
• Educate patients and families on prevention and treatment of Heart Disease
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative procedures (e.g., blood pressure measurement, administering medications)
• Educate patients and families on the effects of medications and other medical treatments on the heart and other vital organs (e.g., diet, physical activity, stress)
• Obtain consent for procedures/medical treatments that the patient or family would not have understood or wanted
• Manage patient records/documenting services provided
• Serve as student or case worker in conjunction with our Medical Education Program for children ages 1 - 5 years old.
