JOB DESCRIPTION:
DRE responsible for overall assembly of 400V/800V 250kW eMotor
Guide the engineering development of electric motor active components (stator, rotor, resolver, housing) from sourcing to launch
Coordinate the release of the design, obtain design approvals, ensure design manufacturability, component readiness, pieces cost & mass tracking, support future design direction, lead & facilitate resolution of component issues, lead design changes through change management process, support supplier quality, support manufacturing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a closely related engineering degree from an ABET accredited university.
- A minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in the automotive field, preferably product development/powertrain
- Self-starter with strong leadership, communication skills, and demonstrated problem solving ability.
- Understanding of engineering theory and principles of design.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
