Position: Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead

Location: REMOTE

Responsibilities:

• Author and present compelling briefings to relay relevant cyber threat information to technical and non-technical audiences supporting computer network defense
• Develop tactical and strategic Cyber Threat intelligence (CTI) solutions for internal and external clients
• Partner with internal teams to constantly mature the CTI life cycle
• Research and analyze emerging threats
• Curate and maintain data sets for Advance Threat Monitoring
• Implement security detection using file scan, network signatures, and endpoint logic (yara, zeek, suricata, sigma, etc.)
• Expand CTI products and drive strategy for service offering
• Manage day-to-day operations of technical CTI team
• Provide guidance as a Subject Matter Expert

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or 5 years equivalent work experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence (MBA Desired)
• 5 years of experience leveraging analytical frameworks such as Lockheed Martin Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model of Intrusion Analysis, and MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
• 5 years of technical security experience in applying information security best practices
• Experience tracking, profiling, and prioritizing cyber threat activity for broad-base and APT groups
• Strong understanding of tactics, techniques, and procedures associated with advanced threats and the ability to develop relevant detection and defensive countermeasures
• Experience with basic usage of scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and data analysis
• Experienced using and integrating open-source tools into the CTI life cycle
• Experienced with handling malware analysis/reverse engineering of malware
• Extensive knowledge of incident response and processes and incident management
• Experience with proactive cyber threat hunting (retroactive hunt, live hunt)
• Experience in producing Threat report products (Tactical, Technical, Operational)
