Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with over 5 years of experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using stored procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience working with key services such as S3, Lambda, Airflow (MWAA), Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch. Experience with other AWS services including IAM, CloudFormation, and CI/CD is highly preferred.

The candidate should possess expertise in Snowflake or SQL with at least 3 years of experience in Data Ingestion, Transformation, and Loading. A strong grasp of relational database concepts, data modeling (dimensional/snowflake), SQL, query optimization, and data warehouse architecture is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience with coding languages such as Python and Unix for 2 or more years.
• Monitoring data loads for multiple applications, addressing failures, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implementing remediation steps.
• Demonstrating logical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Daily collaboration with offshore teams and providing mentorship.
• Establishing processes and systems to ensure data quality and availability for key stakeholders and business processes.
• Proficiency in Snowflake, query tuning, data issue resolution, and automation of manual tasks.
• Holistic management of the cloud environment to meet company requirements.
• Deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and management tasks within the cloud structure.
• Integration of new applications into the cloud environment.
• Providing training and guidance to stakeholders interacting with the cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborating with business clients to understand their needs and implement relevant strategies.
• Conducting migrations to transition tools and elements to the cloud.
• Working with clients to identify business challenges and contributing to client deliverables by analyzing and structuring relevant data.
• Governing application handover processes to ensure seamless transitions.
• Performing data and code analysis to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in resolutions.
