Outpatient PT Assistant: Full Time Days

 Cape Regional Health System is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving residents and visitors throughout Cape May County. Cape Regional Physicians Associates has over 60 primary care providers and specialists, delivering services in multiple locations throughout Cape May County.

Duties include:

• Provides direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist
• Responsible for administrating and documenting patient treatments established by a Physical Therapist, including but not limited to modalities, therapeutic interventions, home exercise programs, progress notes, and manual therapy
• The PTA is able to work under general supervision of the Physical Therapist. “General supervision” means supervision by a physical therapist in which the supervising physical therapist is available at all times by telecommunications but is not required to be on-site for direction and supervision
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Licensed medical professional that graduated from an accredited PTA program and has successfully passed the State Boards and follow the State Practice Acts
• Ability to logically and independently plan and organize work assignments. Interpersonal skills must be well-developed. Should possess the initiative and ability to set and achieve high standards of performance
