Cape Regional Health System is Hiring a Gi technician Near Middle Township, NJ
GI technician is responsible to :
Prepare, clean, and maintain Endoscopy room and equipment.
- Sets up and cleans Endoscopy room.
- Assists nurse with transferring and positioning patients.
- for care, maintenance, and cleaning of all endoscopes and accessories as per SGNA Standards.
- for cleaning and maintenance of automatic endoscope washer, including hoses, adaptors, and disinfectant.
- Handles and safely stores all endoscopy equipment : is responsible for safety checks of endoscopy equipment, sending endoscopes out for repair, and maintaining a log book.
Assists physicians in obtaining all specimens; i.e., biopsies, polypectomies, and cultures. Assists physicians on all therapeutic procedures.
