Cape Fox is Hiring an Occupational Health Manager Near Patterson AFB, OH

Cape Fox Federal Integrators is accepting resumes for an experienced Occupational Health Manager. This position is contingent upon contract award.

  • Assist with developing and sustaining a Business Plan which defines business areas, product lines, customers, milestones and objectives and metrics for USAFSAM/OE.
  • Perform or assist with a comprehensive OEH Program Management Review strategy and model as defined in AFI 48-145 and ANSI/AIHA Z-10, Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
  • Develop or assist with creating risk communication strategies and templates for various OEH concerns within DoD.
  • Perform or assist with developing, analyzing, and implementing Occupational Environment Health (OEH) audits, review strategies, and performance/data quality metrics.
  • Build or assist with developing management templates and guidance documents for use by installation-level OEH Program managers, by installation and by programs.
  • Perform or assist with business flow and data analysis for USAFSAM/OE and for OEH programs across the entire enterprise.
  • Design or improve Occupational Environment Health (OEH) guidance for the Air Force.
  • Design or improve health hazard recognition, analysis, or control training products.

Job Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Health
  • Possess an exceptionally high capacity for working autonomously and performing assigned tasks with minimal supervision and shall have demonstrated competency and effectiveness working, communicating, and collaborating with inter-professional teams.
  • Possess proficiency in using Microsoft software programs, such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
  • Demonstrated proficiency applying Microsoft Excel or other similar tools to analyze, manipulate, compare, and interpret large data sets.
  • Self-motivated individual who possesses an enthusiasm for developing innovative solutions in a rapid development environment, with thorough attention to detail ensuring that tasks are accomplished in a complete, precise, and accurate manner.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in executing, managing, developing, and assessing an Air Force Occupational and Environmental health policies and programs.
  • An exception to the education requirement may be considered if the experience level warrants (greater than 15 years’ experience performing OEH tasks in the Air Force).
  • Experience as a member of the OEH staff at a Major Command (or equivalent) within the Department of the Air Force, the Air Force Medical Readiness Agency, or Defense Health Agency is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated performance using and optimizing database systems, with specific expertise working with the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System (DOEHRS)-Industrial Hygiene and developing and using associated analytical tools is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated performance developing and supporting strategic initiatives such as business plan development, setting organizational goals and objectives, and reviewing/measuring program performance is highly desired.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with their company based on the potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information. The NDA shall be provided to the Government Program Manager by start of performance
  • Must be able to pass a Tier 1 background investigation
