The Patient Accounts Supervisor shall strive to ensure complete continuity of accuracy, productivity, and efficiency in the flow of accounts.Minimum of three years experience of hospital billing/management or supervisor experience required. Thorough knowledge of computer functions. Medical Terminology. Ability to read and interpret physician documentation. Knowledge of CPT-4 and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. Demonstrates leadership qualities and organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to supervise personnel, implement policies/procedures and establish and maintain effective relationships with necessary agencies.Hearing and verbal ability to communicate, manage, and coordinate various, multiple activities is required. Ability to be self-direct and flexible in working between departments. Visual acuity is required for use with PC’s and printouts. Manual dexterity is required for use with computer keyboards. Ability to manage light to medium lifting.
