The Rescue Mission of Cape Fear and its Bargain Center Store seeks a full-time dispatch and delivery scheduler. You will be the first point of contact with all customers, donors and the public who phone the Rescue Mission and Bargain Center. Our high-volume store requires an employee who thrives under pressure. The selected candidate must be an alert, energetic, outgoing, multi-tasker who can quickly shift gears based on demand and time constraints. You will be required to answer our main and secondary phone lines in addition to scheduling pickups of donations and scheduling delivery of purchases from the Bargain Center. This position also requires light cleaning, stocking, inventorying, and setting displays, etc. throughout the store. Outstanding customer service is a must, whilst always remaining a team player and putting the mission of the organization above all else. Small family-like staff seeks honest, dependable, open minded and compassionate go getter to join us. We are centrally located in Wilmington and serve a diverse clientele.

Working hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 9a-5p. Saturdays are mandatory. Paid time off available after 90 days. Generous employee discount offered. This job offers no health insurance or other benefits beyond discount & time off. Pay would be commensurate with experience.
