Spanish Teacher – Part-Time – Lower and Middle Schools 

Position Description

Major Responsibilities:

• Teach the equivalent of 2 courses: Spanish 2 in Middle School & grades 4/5 in Lower School
• Provide a range of instructional and assessment strategies to meet the needs of all students
• Collaborate with staff members to create engaging lessons and a positive school culture
• Track student data and uphold high behavioral and academic expectations
• Provide tutoring to individual and small student groups as required
• Continuously communicate and build relationships with students and families
• Create an inviting and engaging classroom culture
• Performs other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

 Qualifications: 

• Teacher should be experienced and knowledgeable in all levels of Spanish 
• Demonstrated flexibility to develop curriculum in Spanish
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: 

• Three or more years of teaching experience, preferably in Lower & Middle School.

Salary and Benefits: A competitive compensation plan, yet is not benefits eligible.
