Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Camp Director, the Camp Nurse oversees the health and health forms for seasonal campers.

Essential Functions:

1.Appropriately treat injuries and illnesses as appropriately to staff and campers. Administer medication as necessary.

2.Reviews and maintains all medical records for campers.

3.Notifies the Camp Director in writing of any special circumstances or conditions of campers.

4.Leads or assists in any training that may be pertinent to a child’s special medical condition.

5.Maintains a clean and safe environment, ensuring area is free of clutter, debris and hazardous conditions.

6.Follows all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures. Completes reports as necessary.

7.Other duties as assigned.
