Position Summary:

Responsible for preparation and packaging of food for the Summer Food Program.

Essential Functions:

1.Prepares and packages food.

2.Ensures that food is properly prepared following Serve Safe methods, is quality assured, and distributed in a professional and efficient manner.

3.Maintains appropriate storage of food and food service equipment

4.Maintains cleanliness ensuring kitchen and dining areas are clean and organized. Uses age-appropriate cleaning method, ie. hand wash dishes and equipment.

5.Maintains a positive, professional, and customer service environment.

6.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1.Minimum 15 years of age.

2.High school diploma/GED preferred.

3.Experience in food service preparation preferred.

4.Excellent human relation skills, good organizational and communication skills.

Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position.
