Cape Cod Academy is Hiring a Mathematics Faculty position (Middle and Upper School) Near Osterville, MA

Cape Cod Academy is an independent day school for students in kindergarten through grade 12. Located in Osterville, MA, our college preparatory school sits on a 46-acre campus. CCA strives for academic excellence throughout each student’s educational journey, and consists of three divisions— the Lower School (elementary), which spans Kindergarten to fifth grade, Middle School, covering grades 6-8, and our Upper School (high school) for grades 9 through 12. Cape Cod Academy isn’t like any other school. Here, it’s personal. We adjust how we teach to the individual student—because every child has a unique learning style. We call this PAL, our Personalized Approach to Learning. More than a school—it’s a personalized journey.

Cape Cod Academy seeks a compelling and passionate educator to teach Middle and Upper School Math, to serve as an advisor to approximately 10 students, and to engage in the day-to-day life of a CCA Seahawk.

The successful candidate will:

    Qualifications:

    While teacher certification is not required for employment at Cape Cod Academy, all candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in the subject field or a related field. CCA is eager toconsider applications from groups traditionally underrepresented in independent school communities.

    Faculty members work from end of August through approximately the first week in June with 16 weeks off per year and holidays.Cape Cod Academy offer a comprehensive benefit program including health, dental, life, short and long term disability, matching 403(b) retirement savings program and optional vision, accident, critical illness, flexible spending and dependent care accounts.Your completed application must include a cover letter, resume, three written letters of recommendations signed by the recommender, and copies of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts.
