Responsibilities

Work within our collective Sales team, coordinate and execute events and large parties, ensuring memorable experiences for our guests.
Engage, respond, communicate and meet with all sales inquiries in a responsive and professional manner.
Coordinating events have multiple tasks from selling spaces, food and beverage options, managing outside vendors, setup/breakdown from start to finish.
Coordinate with other team members on group accommodations and food and beverage needs for their entire stay as needed.
Serve as a bartender and restaurant staff at Mile Marker One, delivering exceptional service and hospitality.
Assist the General Manager in daily operations and event management including publicizing events, updating website, managing reviews, social media and further operational tasks. Assisting in other related projects as needed.
Take on Guest Services desk shifts as needed, providing comprehensive support across our resort.
Utilize Triple Seat software for event management (experience preferred but not required).
Manage inquiries, plan events within budget and time constraints, and ensure high-level execution in collaboration with our culinary and management teams.
Collaborate with the General Manager on marketing for weddings, events, hotel, restaurant, and experiences through OpenTable

Job Requirements

Flexible availability and a whatever it takes attitude
Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant management, or event coordination.
Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written) and a naturally outgoing personality.
Proficiency in MS Office and adaptable to learning event management software.
Knowledge of Toast, OpenTable and Triple Seat a plus
Hotel front desk and taking reservations a plus
Ability to multitask, handle stress, and remain calm under pressure.
A passion for creating exceptional guest experiences with a problem-solving mindset.
Strong organizational skills
1 year in this or a similar role (Required)
Restaurant supervisor or event coordination: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, year-round as needed
