Canyons Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! We are a multi-doctor, award winning, small animal hospital in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.

Individuals with 1 years of prior veterinary experience and excellent communication skills are highly encouraged to apply.

This is a full-time role comprised of 4-10s M-F.

Requirements:

• 1 years of current, hands-on veterinary experience
• Takes pride in being punctual, dependable, and reliable
• Self-starters who take initiative and pay close attention to detail
• Compassionate team players who have excellent communication skills
• Self-starter with a friendly and approachable personality
• Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
• Experience with Evet/Covetrus Pulse is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Client service and communication
• Welcoming and discharging patients
• Collaboration with other team members
• Managing phone lines
• Booking appointments
• Setting up new clients and patients
• Over-the-counter sales
• Financial transactions
• General front desk duties (email, faxing, filing, etc.)
• Ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is always clean and presentable
• Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings, noticing areas of need within the practice
