Canyon Graphics is Hiring a Production Operator: Second Shift Near San Diego, CA

Overview:

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team. Located in Kearny Mesa, we have full-time, entry-level positions available for production workers. As a Production Operator you will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to manufacture products according to specifications. We offer a clean, fully air-conditioned facility with great benefits and friendly co-workers.

Canyon Inc. was founded in 1981 in San Diego, CA as a specialty printing company. Today, we provide our expertise in printing, thermoforming, 3D Trimming, 2D precision cutting, lamination, and injection molding to customers all over the world. Our mission is to continue to lead the custom manufacturing industry by providing innovative engineering solutions and exceeding our customer's expectations for quality, service, and delivery. Our vision is to maintain our presence as a leader in the In-Mold Decoration (IMD) market and extend our custom manufacturing services beyond our existing lines of products.

Available Shifts:

- Second shift: 3:15pm to 11:45 pm (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate production machinery and equipment.

· Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications.

· Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary.

· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

· Help to prepare orders for shipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

· High School Diploma, General Education Certification (GED), or equivalent.

· Must pass and maintain training certifications, as required.

· Team player who has a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and strives for excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

· 1 year of manufacturing, production, assembly, or related experience.

· Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.

· Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.

To ensure a safe work environment you must be able to perform the following physical and mental tasks, with or without a reasonable accommodation:

· Walking, balancing (maintaining equilibrium when walking, climbing, etc.), stooping (bending at the waist), reaching, and lifting objects more than 15 pounds.

· Repetitive motion of any part of the body.

· Kneeling, crouching or crawling.

· Dexterity (grasping, pinching, picking, typing, ect.).

· Feeling (an object’s size, shape, texture, etc.)

· Climbing (ascending/descending ladders, stairs, ect.).

· Communicating (hearing/ talking).

· Capacity to think, concentrate and focus for long periods of time.

· Ability to wear a mask, respirator, PPE or other equipment.

· Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Company’s office or worksite.

· Ability to read and write complex documents in the English language.
