Canton Brew Works in Canton, MI is looking for one full-time bartender to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable. Canton Brew Works is a fun, friendly environment. We pay above minimum wage. An insurance supplement and earned PTO will be available after 180 days on the job. The successful candidate will have a standard schedule with shifts starting after 4PM, but we do require some flexibility for special events, etc.
Responsibilities
- Properly pour beer and other beverages quickly and efficiently
- Interact with customers, take orders, serve drinks and food
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Some light food prep
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Be guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Clean to standards throughout shift and at close
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Strong knowledge of craft beer
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
- Ability to work a 35-40 hour work week
