Job Overview:

We are actively looking to add a highly energetic and hospitality driven person to join our Food & Beverage team. This person will be primarily responsible for assisting in the management of front of house food service operations located at Cantigny Park including the Café, Cantigny’s Beer Garden, Concert’s and other specialty events as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Food & Beverage Management team to oversee day to day operations of our food service operations located at Cantigny Park.
• Assist in the training and supervision of staff members to ensure excellent service and standards and adherence to company standards.
• Uphold high standards of food service delivery and guest interaction to ensure every guest experience is a special one.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment for all parties.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of special events.
• Assist in budget management by adhering to food waste logs, labor management and supply item levels.
• Complete daily accounting tasks for the operation including check outs, deposits and tip outs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in food and beverage management, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including cost control, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
