POSITION: Tax Accountant (Level III)

Contracted: 04.15.2024 to 10.14.2024

FULLTIME/PARTTIME: Full time

LOCATION: Riverside, RI (onsite)

SCHEDULE: 8:30 - 5pm Monday - Friday

PAY RANGE: $35.00 - 38.73 hourly (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base pay information is based on market location.)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary responsibilities will be to assist the Global Indirect Tax team which has responsibility for the Sales and Use Tax and Business Personal Property tax filings for the company as well as Information Reporting and Withholding for vendor payments.
• Tasks can include review vendor invoices for accuracy of sales tax, preparation of sales and use tax returns, support Line of Business tax research questions, tax forecasting, review/approve journal entries, and participate in special projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills: 3-5 years of Tax experience.

• Ability to work independently.
• Good Judgment
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical & Research Skills
• Good communication skills and process improvement skills
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong Excel skills

Desired Experience: Experience with Excel, SAP

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
• The ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Use of computers and technology
