ABOUT THE ROLE

As a member of the Data Visualization team, you will report to the Data Visualization Leader. You will work with data solutions including data warehouses and data lakes to support data analytics, dashboard development, and data science efforts. You will work with legacy company data platforms including ERP, CRM, and HRMS systems to migrate data to best-in-class platforms.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop integrated database solutions to store and retrieve company information for BI reporting and other analytical needs
  • Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
  • Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality
  • Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications
  • Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
  • Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements
  • Optimize new and current database systems

ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Management, or related degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Data Engineer, or similar role
  • Experience working with complex data warehouses and data lakes in Azure
  • Experience with the following Azure services: Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Serverless SQL Pools, and PySpark Notebooks
  • In-depth understanding of database structure and Kimball data modeling principles
  • Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
  • Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Experience working with csv, json, parquet and delta files
  • Expertise in Python and SQL
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, SSIS and Azure Data Studio
  • Familiar with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

The salary range for this position is $93,000 - $113,000 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances. We have paid time off, flex-time summer hours, remote work options and a 401k plan and employee perk programs.
