As a Candy Expert, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sharing your expertise on various candies and confections. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Assist customers in selecting candies and confections based on their preferences
- Provide detailed information about different types of candies, including ingredients, flavors, and origins
- Offer recommendations for candy pairings or gift ideas
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
- Stay up-to-date with current candy trends and new product releases

Requirements:

- Outgoing and fun personality
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory and keep the store tidy
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Helpful but not required:

- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a candy or confectionery store - Strong knowledge of different types of candies, flavors, and brands - Proficient in operating a POS system and handling cash transactions
