Candidate Source is on the lookout for Warehouse Workers for a growing distributor in Chester, VA (The warehouse is a 10 minute drive from Hopewell,VA). If you're ready for a role that offers weekly pay and 40 hours per week.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Overtime: Required, offering additional earning potential

Your Role:

As a Warehouse Worker, you'll be an essential part of our operations, ensuring our products are ready for distribution. You'll handle a variety of goods, from food to household items, with care and efficiency. Your daily tasks will have a direct impact on our supply chain, helping us serve our customers effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unloading: Manually unload shipping containers loaded floor-to-ceiling with boxes.

• Palletizing: Arrange items on pallets and secure them with plastic wrap for safe storage.

• Counting: Ensure accurate item counts and proper stacking techniques are used.

• Lifting: All items weigh between 30-50 pounds. You'll be expected to handle these with ease.

• Organizing: Keep the warehouse orderly by allocating new products to their designated areas.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Prior work in a distribution environment is preferred but not essential.

• RF Scanner Knowledge: A plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to comfortably lift 50 pounds and engage in repetitive lifting throughout an 8-hour shift.

• Attitude: A team player who's comfortable with manual labor and ready to contribute to a positive workplace.

• Please Note: This position is a manual labor position and does not involve forklifts.
