Candidate Experience site is Hiring a Senior Talent Management Specialist Near El Segundo, CA

The Senior Specialist, Talent Management will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating key employee lifecycle activities including: performance management, career planning and development, talent reviews, calibration, promotion and succession planning. They will partner with the HR Business Partners to design and implement organizational design strategies, engagement survey action planning and support enterprise-wide engagement activities. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing HR programs, have excellent communication skills and be able to influence without authority. They will have a demonstrated ability to partner across both the HR team and business to deliver high quality, impactful HR programs and processes. What you will do:

  • Design, implement, and/or scale measurable talent lifecycle and engagement programs and priorities that enable high-performing individuals and teams to achieve ST and LT business results
  • Leverage technology and best practices, to support a dynamic, growing workforce of 3000 employees 
  • Develop and drive end-to-end processes for key programs across the talent lifecycle, including program scoping, planning, deliverables, stakeholder management, content and materials development, and communications
  • Create suite of support tools, training, and resources across all talent management programs to support stakeholder groups (individual contributors, managers, leaders of leaders)
  • Gather input across HR and business stakeholder groups to identify critical skills and competencies to build frameworks for both individual and managerial development 
  • Create simple, effective communications that drive awareness, behavior change, and program adoption
  • Define, measure, and communicate key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of talent development efforts and make data-driven decisions
  • Partner with M&A Integration team to build plans for talent integration and engagement 
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices to benchmark and establish differentiating talent management strategies needed for the current and future workforce, e.g., internal marketplace/talent mobility, workforce planning, etc.
  • Travel, as needed, for key program rollouts and events
  • Other duties as assigned

What you need to have:

  • Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience across the spectrum of talent management, organizational development/ effectiveness, culture, and change initiatives; preferably in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment
  • 2 years’ experience facilitating talent review/calibration sessions and training sessions
  • 2 years’ experience managing HR programs
  • Experience as an HR generalist, HR business partner or HR Learning & Development specialist a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

What is nice to have:

  • Depth of knowledge and experience driving innovative, end-to-end talent management programs, from strategy to execution, that deliver meaningful, measurable outcomes 
  • Ability to understand business vision and priorities and translate into programs, practices, processes, and supporting resources
  • Skilled at taking complex frameworks and concepts and distilling to simple, actionable communications, training and resources for different stakeholder groups (individual contributor, manager, leader of leader) and across communication mediums (oral, written, visual presentation)
  • Strong facilitation skills across size and type of audiences from talent review/calibration sessions to training sessions 
  • Skilled at building collaborative working relationships and consulting with a wide variety of HR and business partners across the organization, distributed virtually and in-person
  • Ability to use MS Excel to manipulate and visualize data (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and leverage to enable informed decision making
  • Proactive and self-directed with ability to manage/complete multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment

Travel Requirements: As needed, for key program rollouts and events, periodic up to 10%

Compensation: The base annual salary range for this role is $115,000 to $145,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
