The POCT/ECC Stat Lab Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day oversight of Point-of-Care testing, including the ECC Stat Lab. The Supervisor supervises testing personnel and reports test results. He/she selects continuing education for staff and maintains personnel files. The supervisor also ensures that all safety standards are followed and serves as a resource for accreditation compliance. He/she works as a bench technologist as needed.

Qualifications:

A. Education

1. Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field from an accredited institute

B. Experience

1. Minimum of five years of experience as a Medical Technologist

C. Licensure/Certification

1. Registered Medical Technologist, ASCP or equivalent
