Candidate Experience site is Hiring a Lab Manager Near Milledgeville, GA

Job Summary

Performs a variety of laboratory examinations and tests including specialized or experimental procedures assuring rapid and accurate results. Provides direct supervision to technologists, technicians, technical assistants, and phlebotomists to include workload assignments, training, resolution of technical problems, staffing, scheduling, counseling, and other disciplinary measures.Orders supplies, reviews quality control records and maintains workload statistic data.

Education, Training, and Experience

  1. Baccalaureate degree from accredited college or university to include minimum of 30 quarter hours of lecture science, including at least 15 quarter hours of chemistry, 10 quarter hours of biology, 5 quarter hours of math, 5 years minimum of general laboratory experience, and 3 years managerial or supervisory experience.
  2. Experience: Minimum of two years as a bench technologist and 3 years supervisory experience, required. Computer and business management skills preferred. 

Other Job Requirements, Licenses, Certifications

Registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT, MLS, CLT, CLS) by the Board of Registry as ASCP, AMT, AAB (AAB with 15yrs.experience), NCA, HHS certification or equivalent.
