Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties:

• greeting customers, offering samples, and making product suggestions based on the customer’s needs
• making and serving gelato and other desserts as per menu specifications
• serving cakes, coffee, and other beverages
• maintaining the store’s fresh and clean atmosphere – including cleaning of the counter area, dining area, toilets, and lab.
• replenishing supplies and monitoring stock levels during the shift
• polishing counters and other equipment
• maintaining a clean and tidy personal appearance including wearing the correct uniform.
• cash and electronic payment handling, including selling vouchers and event tickets
• stock management and ordering responsibilities
• accurate record keeping
• working in accordance with food safety/food handling regulations
• responding to customer inquiries in person and on the phone
• General housekeeping duties including setting up the gelateria for the day and closing down in the evening

Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for accurate order-taking and bill calculation
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address customer concerns or issues
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing
