Inventory Control Specialist
Summary
Responsible for leading, managing, transforming, and developing the inventory and logistics of pharmaceutical, medical and office supplies within the organization. Provides oversight of inventory housed within CHC clinics and corporate office. Replenishes supplies as indicated. Requests items from warehouse and other vendors as needed.

Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED. Supply Chain Management experience preferred. Pharmacy Technician experience a plus.
Experience: Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
Other: Must have a high degree of organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and communication skills both written and verbal.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepares essential data for RFX (Request for Proposal, Information, Quotation, etc.)
  • Stocks, replenishes, and maintains inventory of clinical storage areas (including nurse servers) office and other departmental supplies as instructed.
  • Completes Purchase Orders.
  • Provides shipping and receiving oversight for clinic locations.
  • Tracks progress of Purchase Order fulfillment
  • Forecasts necessary purchase of materials.
  • Input and cross-checking pricing of supplies in various inventory management systems.
  • Completes usage report of materials.
  • Assists with special projects as assigned.
Functions as a team member by expanding his/her responsibilities as directed by management to facilitate optimal workflow within the cancer center.
Communicates and interacts with peers and other departments in a manner that is viewed as having a positive effect on patient services and CHCWM staff morale. Interacts effectively with patients/family members and demonstrates sensitivity in regards to cultural diversity, age specific needs and confidentiality.

Work Environment
Able to see clearly in an environment which is equipped with typical lighting. Able to perform manual tasks that require the use of fine muscle motor skills. Able to lift 50 pounds. Able to stand and / or sit for prolonged periods. Able to freely bend/stretch. Able to access, input and retrieve information from computer. Able to tolerate frequent handwashing.
