Job Summary
The Carpenter is responsible for performing all types of construction work, from carpentry to fabrication of cabinets or concrete pouring. The incumbent is also called on to perform various tasks, including the assembly of modular workstations. The role is required to respond to emergencies and may have to work with other construction trades, as needed. Additional tasks include carry out carpentry work for several days or weeks without having to fabricate any cabinets or pour any concrete.
This position is a unionized position. As such, pay and benefits are governed by the applicable collective agreement.
