Job Responsibilities:

• Applies knowledge of various processes and production methods
• Manages oversight of Operators performing machinery setup and adjustment.
• Inspects production from all phases of the operation to ensure compliance. to standards, works with Quality Staff to achieve optimal quality. performance within the equipment limits
• Communicates all pertinent information between departments and between shifts on changes to personnel, equipment, production schedules, production problems or any other related information.
• Works with employees on identifying, discussing solutions and implementing "fixes" on machinery and equipment problems
• Performs and facilitates "on the job training" and/or coaching of all. employees
• Completes and/or administers documentation such as area or machine. specific reports
• Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Oversees production operations on assigned shifts.
• Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly.
• Troubleshoots issues that arise.
• Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems.
• Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Performs required Production Data entry and all required Shift paperwork is accurate and filed correctly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Prior manufacturing experience (machining, Punch Press) preferred.
• Prior Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to traverse the production facility.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production. operations and machinery.
• Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
