OVERVIEW:
Will manage the testing phase of all projects and ensure the testing process adheres to policies and procedures. This job is to handle cost efficiency, quality, and safety throughout the testing process. Will be responsible for employees within the testing department including engineers. Main duties will consist of planning, process improvement and development, performance and follow-up of the testing process.
Looking for Candidates with the following experience:
Electrical engineering experience - High Voltage, Troubleshooting
Continuity testing experience
Will be a working manager role - working with internal and external customers
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:
· Achieving the objectives set in relation to time, quality, cost and safety
· Demonstrates the ability to plan, assign, coordinate, and supervise work of testing and employees while documenting and writing comprehensive reports
· Reporting routinely the progress of the testing according to the plan.
· Collaborate with production to meet schedule
· Order and cleanliness of the area
· Health and Safety at Work in the area
· Promoting and directing improvement plans in his/her area
· Verifies that all methods and testing procedures are followed and documented
· Key driver of implementation and maintenance of employee/supervisor training programs.
· Team building to include hiring, life cycle employee feedback, and coaching while ensuring applicable employee documentation is maintained.
· In order to fulfil these duties this individual must work as a team with other areas of the company primarily with production, the technical office as well as other support functions. This collaboration will be both local with personnel located on site as well as with personnel within the central offices of the headquarters group.
TRAINING/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
· Bachelors degree or masters in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
· 4 year degree in a related field
· 10 years of experience in testing phase of products in Aerospace, Rail, or Automotive
· Project and /or line management experience
· Proven Experience in managing (Senior) Stake Holders
· Microsoft Excel knowledge is a must
· Project Scheduling SW experience

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to work in a high pressure environments
· Must be self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills essential for day to day operations.
· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
· Understanding oral and written Spanish highly desirable
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
· Shall report all injuries/illnesses to their supervisor that occur at work, the day of the incident
· Shall report any unsafe conditions that are identified in their respective work area to their supervisor
· Shall comply with all company USA safety policies, procedures, and requirements that are communicated to them, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures
· Shall wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that is communicated and supplied to them
· Shall keep their respective work area clean and orderly at all times
· Shall attend all company USA required training as soon as possible before the start of their assigned work
· Shall NOT operate any company USA equipment (forklifts, cranes, scissor lifts) until certified to do so
