CAMS Mgt. is Hiring a Property Inspector (HOA Management) Near Columbia, SC

*MUST HAVE A RELIABLE VEHICLE TO DRIVE TO AND THROUGH PROPERTIES FOR THE INSPECTOR DUTIES INVOLVED WITH THIS ROLE

CAMS is on the search for a full-time Property Inspector to perform routine inspections of HOA communities throughout Columbia, SC. Prior Home Owner Association or property management experience is preferred. Having a reliable vehicle to drive through properties is required.

The position hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Salary is determined by the candidate's level of experience related to the industry, starting at $38,000 annually.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Community Managers in all aspects of the job
  • Greet, welcome, and direct clients that come into the office
  • Provide administrative support
  • Assist with communication to community boards of directors
  • Schedule and prepare for regular board meetings
  • Maintain communication with homeowners
  • Respond to homeowner needs
  • Assist in the analysis of monthly financial reports, learn to create variance reports for the boards of directors
  • Contribute to monthly management reports
  • Contact vendors for community maintenance and special projects
  • Attend regular meetings with the management firm
  • Other items as needed

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must have a reliable vehicle to drive for conducting property inspections
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Ability to learn on the job
  • Some general accounting/financial knowledge
