Campus Support is Hiring a Web Developer Near New York City, NY

Campus Support is an educational service company that provides a portfolio of support services in the post-secondary education sector. Campus Support designs and develops educational programs for colleges, universities, and other traditional campus partner institutions at all levels of post-secondary education. Campus Support designs and manages operational support for The King’s College as a partner institution. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Website Developer and Designer, this role focuses on the development and maintenance of the various College websites and provides design support for the marketing team. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Director of Digital Media and Marketing will at various times be responsible for the following as well as other related duties as assigned to support the business objectives and purpose of the Company and The King’s College.

  • Website Development and Maintenance
    • Develop and maintain functionality for College websites (WordPress), including the main site (tkc.edu) and NYCIntern.
    • Build minisite websites to foster campus engagement and giving.
    • Create and maintain pages and other content on the website.
    • Develop and maintain landing pages for marketing initiatives.
    • Ensure user-submitted data on the website integrates with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot). 
    • Maintain plugins and third-party software on the website.
    • Work with I.T. to administer WordPress installations for King's main and peripheral websites.
    • Uphold government web accessibility standards on the website.
    • Work with external programmers as needed.
  • Marketing and Advertising
    • Work with M&C and Admissions on the recruitment marketing plans and advertising campaigns.
    • Track and analyze user data for websites using Google Analytics.
  • Content Production
    • Work collaboratively with internal and contract staff on marketing design projects, as needed.
    • Provide Marketing staff with feedback on marketing assets, as needed.
    • Give post-production feedback for marketing videos.
    • Adding website and design projects to ClickUp.

POSITION REQUIREMENT: 

To be successful in the Website Developer and Designer position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining, and demonstrating the following: 

Education and Experience:

  • Web development skills, especially in WordPress, using HTML, CSS, SASS/LESS, PHP, SQL, and light JavaScript. Will need to know Advanced Custom Fields, light JS/jQuery. Git development workflow is currently in place.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud products, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere
  • Willingness to accept constructive criticism
  • Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and staff at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills and naturally good with organizing data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
