YOUR LIFE AS A HANDYMAN
This position offers stable, full-time work with a usual schedule of four 10-hour shifts, Monday - Thursday, and 3-day weekends!
As a Handyman, you're an important member of our team! Working in crews of two to four team members, you combine your efforts with theirs to accomplish remodeling projects for residential customers. With close attention to detail, you hang drywall, perform mudding, painting, framing, and other carpentry tasks as well as light plumbing and electrical work. You also perform kitchen and bathroom remodels. No matter the project, you always put your best foot forward and work hard to produce high-quality results. You're also a team player who communicates well with others and sees the big picture. You enjoy the variety in your work and find fulfillment in being part of something bigger than yourself!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- 1 years of general construction experience
- Reliable transportation – a truck is preferred
- Your own tools for general labor projects
- Must have a basic understanding of construction materials and tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Owns a dependable truck (preferably 4WD)
- Confidently pull and back up trailers holding material/equipment in a safe and timely manner
- Organize and inventory shop materials, tools, and supplies
- Mechanically inclined and able to provide maintenance and clean-up on gas/electric/battery-powered tools
- Job site clean-up/disposal
- Eager to grow and learn new trades/skills in residential construction.
