Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Writer to join our team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation for various technical processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to research and communicate complex information effectively.

Primary Duties:

1. Technical Writing

• Create and maintain Operation, Controls, and Maintenance manuals for Wrapper systems and related equipment
• Create a library of documentation for all features and models to simplify process
• Create customer specific written and video training materials
• Create internal training materials

2. Other Possible Tasks

• Create spare parts lists for sold machines
• Document risk assessments

3. Other duties as assigned by the Wrapper Engineering Manager

Qualifications:

• Aptitude to understand mechanisms, electrical controls, and menu-based touchscreens
• Ability to translate technical terms, information, and complex principles to written, image, and video form so they are easily understood by laborers who do not have specialized education
• Excellent written communication skills (including efficient keyboarding skills), with ability to accurately proofread own and other’s written documents
• 2nd language (Spanish) a plus but not a requirement if otherwise qualified
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet target dates, and maintain a positive attitude
• Associate or Bachelor degree in a technical field preferred but not mandatory if otherwise highly qualified
