Campbell Supply is the largest Freightliner Dealership in the Tri-State Area and is seeking experienced diesel technicians to join our growing team in Montogomery NY. Campbell Supply provides a number of commercial and emergency product lines including Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu, as well as Spartan and KME Emergency Vehicles.

Diesel Technician Duties:

•Diagnose, document, and repair engine, transmission, and major component fault codes using company-supplied laptops and OEM software while following proper warranty procedures.

•Perform troubleshooting, service, and repair on all components as well as preventative maintenance and reconditioning

•Demonstrates well developed technical and troubleshooting skills with effective problem-solving skills

•Attending OEM and Dealer training online as well as in person when required

Requirements:

•3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic.

•Formal training in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 3-7 vehicles as well as dealership experience is preferred but not required

•Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and drivers with demonstrated teamwork skills.

•Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

•Participation in Continuous Improvement Initiatives and the DTNA Elite Support Program

Shifts Available:

•Shift: Monday-Friday,11 AM - 8:00 PM
