Hourly Rate $25-$45 Monthly Bonus Opportunity
Position: Truck Mechanic (Levels A, B, C)

Job Summary:

As a Truck Technician at Campbell Supply, you'll be integral to maintaining the efficiency and safety of our fleet. This dynamic role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various mechanical issues in a fast-paced environment. We offer growth opportunities across three levels (A, B, C) based on your experience and skills.

Responsibilities:

Level A:

  • Advanced diagnostic skills: Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in trucks.
  • Technical proficiency: Expertise in diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems, with the ability to repair and replace components.
  • Attention to detail: Thoroughly inspect and pinpoint potential problems, ensuring precision in repairs.
  • Innovative problem-solving: Analyze issues, develop creative solutions, and implement effective repair strategies.
  • Efficient time management: Prioritize tasks, manage workload, and complete repairs within specified timelines.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to convey technical information and collaborate with team members.

Level B:

  • Proficient diagnostic abilities: Diagnose and troubleshoot various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in trucks.
  • Solid technical knowledge: Understand diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems, with the capability to repair and replace components.
  • Attention to detail: Conduct thorough inspections and ensure accuracy in repairs.
  • Effective problem-solving: Identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Time management: Manage time effectively to complete repairs within established timelines.
  • Communication: Good communication skills to convey technical information and collaborate with colleagues effectively.

Level C:

  • Basic diagnostic skills: Perform basic diagnostic procedures and identify common mechanical issues in trucks.
  • Technical understanding: Familiarity with diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems, with a willingness to learn and develop skills further.
  • Attention to detail: Perform tasks accurately and follow repair procedures diligently.
  • Eagerness to learn: Improve problem-solving abilities, seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Time management: Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks.
  • Communication: Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions.

Qualifications:

Level A:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a truck mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and repairing various truck systems and components.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Level B:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a truck mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing various truck systems and components.
  • Solid understanding of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Level C:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a truck mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of diagnosing and repairing truck systems and components.
  • Understanding of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in truck maintenance and repair.
