About Us:We are an established Wealth Management & CPA firm, with locations in Citrus, Hernando, and Pasco County, Florida. Our firm provides integrated financial services, tax and consulting services for individuals and businesses. 
We are looking for a CPA experienced in Tax Accounting to join our team. This is a permanent, full time position.
Relocation already established is a must.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CPA Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. As a CPA Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, and providing strategic tax planning advice to individuals and businesses.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and minimize tax liabilities for clients.
  • Assist clients with tax planning strategies, including evaluating the tax implications of business transactions, investments, and estate planning.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to tax laws and regulations, advising clients on the potential impact of legislative developments on their tax obligations.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients during tax audits, responding to inquiries from tax authorities and assisting with the resolution of tax issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, earning their trust and confidence through professionalism, expertise, and excellent service.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination of tax services and deliverables for clients.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise in tax accounting.

Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  •  5 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in simple terms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software (Thomson Reuters a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite, & QB.
  • Commitment to ethical and professional standards in tax accounting.
