Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Pay: $20/hour

Desired Qualifications:

• Required:
• At least 16 years of age
• Lifeguard Training (LGT) and CPR certifications (training available)
• Preferred Experience:
• Previous lifeguarding experience

What You'll Do:

As a lifeguard for the Sudbury Resident Swim Program, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our swimmers. Your role includes:

• Keeping Residents Safe: Always be vigilant, ready to assist in emergency situations, and ensure the safety of all swimmers.
• Following Directions: Apply good judgment and follow the guidance of your supervisors to maintain a safe environment.
• Supervising Swimmers: Maintain constant supervision of swimmers and be capable of effective interaction in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Activity: Be prepared for a physically active role, including standing, walking, and swimming for up to 6 hours a day in the sun.
• Performing Lifeguarding Skills: Execute all Red Cross lifeguarding skills efficiently.
