Job Title: ​Professional Ultimate Frisbee Coach

Reports to: Assistant Director and Sports Director; All staff report the Camp Director

Located in Palmer Massachusetts, Camp Ramah in New England provides innovative and nurturing summer camp programs for campers in grades 2-10 by integrating the fun of summer camp with meaningful content and high level activities.

Position Purpose: A professional Frisbee coach to work with campers ranging from age 8-16 offering educational and recreational programming for children appropriate to a summer camp setting. This coach will teach skills, techniques, and facilitate gameplay, offering both competitive and non-competitive playing opportunities.

Positions are available for 2-week, 4-week, and 8-week blocks. Room and Board can be provided on site.

Essential Job Functions:

· Provide engaging, safe and age-appropriate experience for campers to learn and play Ultimate Frisbee

· Maintain consistent level of supervision, cleanliness, and safety

· Communicate with Assistant Director and/or Sport Director regularly with updates or challenges

· Take attendance at the beginning of each class

· Plan, implement, and participate enthusiastically in all lessons and activities, leading classes and coaching sessions as assigned.

Qualifications:​

· Must be 18 or older on June 23rd 2024 and able to work in the US without a visa

· Must submit health history record and examination

· Ability to interact with children of all age levels

· Must be able to pass a background check as required by the state of Massachusetts.

· Creativity, compassion, patience and understanding with regards to working with young children.

Physical Aspects of the Position:

· Ability to work a long day, including standing and/or sitting.

· Ability to work independently to complete tasks including during non-traditional hours.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
