Camp Nowhere, a vibrant and fun casual bar/restaurant, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Barback/Busser. As a Barback/Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment by providing support to both the bartenders and servers. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain cleanliness and efficiency in the bar and dining areas, while also assisting with stocking and organizing supplies. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area throughout the shift, including clearing tables, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring that all trash and dirty dishes are promptly removed.
• Assist bartenders with restocking supplies such as glasses, utensils, napkins, etc.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service, including restocking liquor bottles, kegs, and other beverage supplies.
• Assist servers with food service, including running food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables, refilling water glasses, and clearing plates and utensils.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient flow of food service.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service by promptly addressing customer needs and requests.
• Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring a seamless and coordinated operation.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a barback, busser, or in a similar support role within a bar or restaurant is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, remaining calm and focused under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and orderliness.
• Ability to lift heavy objects such as a full keg and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
