Qualifications: LPN, RN with current New Jersey license
Day shift 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Evening shift 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide care for diabetes and other problems with medical staff for campers and staff including administration of insulin and other medications.
- Supervise all activities of the Health Center Assistant.
- Assist or supervises blood glucose monitoring done in the Health Center.
- Answer phone calls to Health Center and communicates with camper parents as needed.
- Follow up on Watch Board and E-vent cards
- Maintain medical records of campers.
- Assist with care and upkeep of Health Center and medical equipment.
- Serve as role models for staff and campers.
- Follow and enforces all Camp Nejeda policies.
- All other duties as assigned
All nurses are considered "On Duty" while on camp grounds and emergencies are responded to by all available staff.
Salary varies by the following criteria:
- Day Camp vs. Overnight Camp
- Night Shift vs. Day shift at the overnight camp
- Charge Nurse/ Assistant Charge Nurse
- Multi-week vs. Single session
Shared housing provided as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Per diem
Pay: $550.00 - $715.00 per week
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
