Camp Kesem at The University of Texas - Austin is looking for one nurse to join our summer camp team! Kesem offers a free week-long camp for kids affected by their parent’s cancer. Camp is free to attend, and the camp is planned, managed, and staffed by college student volunteers from The University of Texas - Austin.

Camp will be held from June 23rd-June 28th at Luther Hill Camp in La Grange TX (about an hour and a half from the central Austin area).

As a nurse, you will be responsible for dispensing daily medication, as instructed by each camper's physician, and for addressing any health emergencies that may come up over the course of the week. You must hold an RN, LPN/LVN, or be a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas, or be willing to obtain a temporary license for that state.

All potential candidates will undergo a background check and interview process. Compensation is available and will be further discussed during the interview. If you love summer camp and helping kiddos, you will love working with us!
