Camp High Hopes counselors are our "Smile Makers."

We are a barrier-free camp working to enrich the lives of children and adults with challenging illnesses or special needs and their families throughout the year. Each summer, Camp High Hopes hires a diverse staff of exceptional individuals to form our seasonal summer staff. Take part in the magic of camp as we celebrate life and give unforgettable camp experiences to our amazing campers.

If you are ready to dive into a summer of camp fun this position could be the one for you! Lifeguards will keep campers, staff, and volunteers safe in all aquatic activities at Camp High Hopes. Specific program areas of responsibility will be the waterfront (lake) and fishing and boating adventures.

Additional responsibilities include: helping the cabins when they need additional personal, camper personal care, transferring campers who use wheelchairs into canoes and paddleboats.

Our season runs from June 3rd (Training) to August 9th (Last campers depart).

Our team works to provide all our campers with the support and encouragement they need to climb a tree, paddle in a canoe, finish an arts and crafts project, splash around in the pool and stay safe. It will be a fantastic summer where you not only will you be helping create smiles, but hopefully walk away with a few yourself.
