Job Title: Cleaner

Reports To: General Manager, Manager On Duty

SUMMARY

Camp Eddy is currently looking for reliable, outgoing and motivated members to join our Housekeeping team! Cleaner are responsible for the essential functions for the Housekeeping position: maintaining the cleanliness of accommodations and public spaces at our RV & Lodging Resort.

Job Type: Part-time, Full-time potential

COMPENSATION:

$15.05-$15.25 per hour, depending on experience

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Be yourself and genuinely care about each interaction you have.
• Comply with all Camap Eddy operating policies and procedures.
• Understand that the cleanliness of accommodations is of high importance to service levels.
• Responsibilities involve cleaning tiny homes, and Airstreams and includes, but not limited to, striping and remaking beds, replacing soiled linen and towels, restocking home supplies such as soap and tissues, cleaning bathroom and kitchen surfaces, dusting, removing all trash, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Additional tasks include cleaning door glass and interior windows.
• Responsible for disposal of trash and waste found in accommodations.
• Use safety precautions and always follow instructed chemical use.
• Report any needed repairs immediately to the General Manager or Manager on Duty
• Adhere to Camp Eddy standards for cleanliness, timeliness, checklists, and training guides.
• Ability to follow instructions and prioritization of tasks with little supervision.
• Bring all questions, comments, or concerns to the General Manager or Manager on Duty
• Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Supervisory & Training responsibilities:

• This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and/or skill required.

Education & Experience:

• At least six months housekeeping/cleaner experience required.

Able To:

• Work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Work shifts that start at 10:30am and typically end between 3:30 & 4:30pm.
• Remain calm under pressure or in the face of an emergency.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, procedures manuals.
• Plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment and maintain high levels of productivity without direct supervision.
• Work independently or in a team environment and take direction.
• Utilize personal cell phone and apps for communication and to complete tasks (WiFi Provided)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to use standard cleaning equipment, such as brooms, vacuums, and cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work in compact spaces (tiny homes, Airstreams)
• Stamina to stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, squat, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Agility to perform services over extended periods.
• Must frequently lift, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maintain a fast, efficient pace.
• Hearing and speech to communicate in person, on the radio, or over the telephone.
