Purpose

A Warehouse Associate at Camira plays a key role in ensuring customers’ orders are fulfilled through day-to-to day activities that include shipping, receiving, and order processing.

Responsibilities

• Process all customer orders in a timely manner through:
  • Picking fabric
  • Cutting orders
  • Packaging
  • Dispatching
  • Relocating stock
• Ensure fabric is the correct quality, color, and quantity before shipping to the customer.
• Understand and commit to accuracy on all customer specific shipping instructions and requirements, such as labels.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in warehouse through daily stock checks and proper stock management when moving stock.
• Prepare outbound shipping and receive inbound shipping as assigned.
• Support and collaborate with team members.

Education / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

• Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Warehouse experience and using bar code systems would be beneficial
• Experience with fork lift would be beneficial

Additional qualifications required:

• Warehouse Associates must be able to tell the difference between colors and shades
• The job will require bending, stretching and lifting fabric rolls weighing up to 60 pounds.
