Camerota Truck Parts is Hiring a Truck Parts/Inside Counter Sales Near Valley, NY

Camerota Truck Parts has an opportunity for an experienced Truck Parts/Inside Counter sales with knowledge of the truck industry including both sales and service operations to manage our Valley Cottage NY facility and provide quality service to this market area.

Position Overview:

  • Increase distribution center business in the New York City market area by developing and meeting aggressive sales goals, from both existing and new customer sources, for our retail sales operations.
  • Consistently demonstrate, through customer support, resolution of issues and sales, knowledge of truck drivetrain components to include: parts, units and billable service jobs.
  • Manage and process high volume sales calls thoroughly and professionally with both Outside and Inside Sales team.
  • Identify light to heavy duty models, units, components, cores, & parts to provide correct solution for customer needs.
  • Utilize electronic catalogs, parts/unit reference books and internal computer system to source information.
  • Foster a customer-centered service philosophy and team approach among all employees. Actively manage and develop inside and field team members. This includes development/training, hiring/terms, motivating and managing to ensure that business performance goals are achieved.
  • Analyzing inventory levels, re-order lists and performing cycle counts to ensure that facility is stocked with adequate inventory levels of parts, units and supplies in response to sales demands.
  • Set and achieve budget objectives by managing expenditures and initiating corrective action. Meet with management to develop monthly and annual goals and objectives, and to review actual performance.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts through innovation and application of best-practices.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience working in the heavy duty truck industry or Dealership (parts or service) with at least 3 years of management experience.
  • Account sales and customer management experience. Proven track record for developing new customer business and growing existing business.
  • Experience in operations management: distribution, retail sales and billable service operation.
  • Demonstrated track record with strong leadership, teamwork, and ability to set a strategic direction and define the tactical plan necessary to achieve it.
  • The ability to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Communicate well both verbally and in writing
  • Highly motivated, professional with a “make it happen” attitude & approach.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills is a must
