Position SummaryThe primary function of this position is to drive profitable sales for the Cameron Ashley Sales (GDS) team. By embracing Cameron Ashley’s key value propositions, the Inside Sales Manager strives to achieve profitable sales goals by leading a group of inside sales professionals. The Inside Sales Manager is held accountable to coach, train and develop direct reports. Additionally, this position is responsible for the overall coordination and functional day-to-day management of this team. Essential Functions
Responsible for the execution of CABP comprehensive strategic business plan
Tasked with driving the annual sales and performance plans in order to remain aligned with Cameron Ashley’s overall business strategy
Lead, motivate and encourage the Inside Sales team to ensure the successful execution of their respective sales and performance plans on a monthly basis
Conduct performance reviews and coaching/counseling sessions as required
Instill culture of individual accountability and drive to meet goals
Develop and maintain strategic level customer, industry and internal business relationships, including with key vendor partner’s regional leaders
Participate in key pricing negotiations and rebate programs to ensure optimal ROI
Assist employees with making sound business decisions by reviewing daily reports, and holding them accountable for pricing decisions within outlined parameters
Share market intelligence within entire sales team and purchasing partner
Work with field-based sales team to maximize opportunities, resolve issues and continually communicate Cameron Ashley’s Value Proposition / Service Platforms
Identify underperforming personnel, customers, products and coach and develop them to greater success
Proactively manage and resolve credit issues in collaboration with various support departments
Establish and execute training programs for Inside Sales representatives to ensure the team has the skills and capabilities to achieve objectives
Collaborate with other CABP divisions for planning and execution goals
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a business area of study and/or ample industry experience
5 years sales experience with a visible track record of increasing responsibility
Proven track record of operating within a large, geographically spread organization
Communicative in performance objectives, and key performance indicator strategies
Knowledge of building product customer segments and channels to market
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team
Strong analytical / problem solving skills
Requirements
Ability to pass a drug test and background verifications
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position
Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
